Janet Carlson

Special guest

Janet Carlson is a healthcare marketing rebel with a résumé that reads like a mic drop. From crushing it as a top-ranked Pfizer sales rep (after turning down med school twice), to rewriting the pharma playbook on Madison Avenue, she’s built a career out of flipping the script. At NCI, she helped launch the industry's first DTC campaign. At Whittle, she shaped strategy for every J&J company. Then she launched One Eleven Interactive, one of the first digital healthcare agencies in the U.S.—home of first-ever pharma websites, physician email platforms (MightyMail™), and mobile sampling tech (SampleServer®). She doesn't follow trends. She builds what's next.

As CEO and Creative Director of 1.11 Group, Janet now leads the charge with AI-powered tools like VOXplan™ Brand, BrandMap™, and Voxxie™—cutting through chaos so healthcare brands can actually get sh*t done. She’s also a fierce community builder: for 10 years, she served as Chair of the Economic Development Committee in Cornwall, CT, where she helped regrow the local school, attract new businesses, and bring hundreds of new families to town. She’s also served as Selectwoman and on the Board of Finance. Oh—and during the pandemic? Her nonprofit, Health Pathfinders, helped thousands get vaccinated and access care. Janet doesn’t just fix brands—she helps them lead.
