Amalia Cunningham is an economic development and organizational development consultant, blending small business support, planning, human resources, and affordable housing knowledge from her 20 years of experience in California and nationally. Amalia worked as economic development staff for local governments throughout the greater Bay Area before starting her consulting practice which serves clients across the country. She has a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and master’s degree in city planning from the University of California at Berkeley. Amalia holds the American Institute of City Planning credential and recently completed a certificate in Organizational Development from the University of Minnesota continuing education. A fourth generation Californian, Amalia has served on the California Association of Local Economic Development board since 2023.
